Do I need to take a new DNA test?

No. This report analyzes the raw data file you can already download from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage or FamilyTreeDNA. No new kit, no new sample, no additional lab work. If you have tested with any of those services, your file is already sufficient — see the Raw DNA File Format Reference.

What exactly is a “peptide relevance score”?

A 0–100 measure of how closely your specific genetic variants match the biological targets of the thirteen compounds studied in this pathway. A high score means many of your markers sit in the systems those compounds act on. A low score means few of them do — often a sign of a strong natural baseline.

It measures relevance to your genetics, not how healthy you are, and it is not a recommendation to take anything.

Does a low score mean I heal slowly?

No, and this is the most common misreading of the whole report. The score measures how closely your variants match the compounds studied in this pathway — it is a measure of peptide relevance, not a rating of your repair capacity. A low score frequently means your growth and repair signaling is already working well enough that these compounds have little to add. The sample above says exactly that: strong IGF-1 receptor signaling, and a low score.

Nothing in twelve markers sets a ceiling on how well you recover. Sleep, protein, training load and time do far more than any genotype here.

Is the analysis done by AI?

I compete in a tested sport. Is any of this usable?

The genetic analysis is. The compound alignment section largely is not. Growth-hormone secretagogues (GHRP-6, hexarelin, ipamorelin) and IGF-1 analogues (IGF-1 LR3, IGF-1 DES) sit squarely on the WADA Prohibited List, and ACE-031 is an investigational myostatin inhibitor whose development was discontinued. For a tested athlete that covers most of the thirteen.

Your report carries each compound’s status alongside its score rather than burying it, but the report is not a compliance check and is not kept current against the list. Verify everything against the current WADA Prohibited List and your governing body’s rules. A high alignment score is not a clearance — it describes your genetics, nothing else.

Should I look into growth-hormone therapy based on this?

That is not a question this report can answer, and it is worth being blunt about why. Growth hormone is a prescription medicine. Whether anyone should take it is decided by a clinician on the basis of blood work, symptoms and a diagnosis — adult GH deficiency is a real condition with real diagnostic criteria, and a genotype is not among them.
